Removal and Replacement Procedures 2-9

CD Blank

To remove the CD blank:

1. Push the ejection button .

2. Pull the CD blank out the CD MultiBay .

CAUTION: Always populate the CD MultiBay with either a CD-ROM drive or CD blank.

Operating the server without installing a CD-ROM drive or CD blank results in improper airflow

and improper cooling that can lead to thermal damage.

To replace the CD blank, slide the blank into the bay until it locks into place.
